Book Blogger Hop: Go-to author when in reading rut

For the week of Aug 10-16:

Who is your go-to author when you are in a reading rut?

My answer:
Usually if I'm in a reading rut it's because I've read so much recently that I'm just taking a break. But a fun, semi-light author that I can easily pick up are Lori Wick. Or I'll just read my favorite scenes from Anne of Avonlea, or a Janette Oke book. Depends on what is nearby. :-)

Which author do you go to when in a reading rut?

  1. Rina, I discovered your blog as I was looking for more Christian book blogs to read. I, too, am a librarian, except I retired a year ago. I thought I would have much more time to read, but six grandchildren and other pursuits keep me really busy. I wish you well in finding a job in the library field. Libraries are changing so much, but I believe are still the most wonderful places. I was a school librarian and before that taught high school English. My blog, also predominately Christian and inspirational reads, is at www.thoughtsfrommillstreet.com I will keep checking your blog and hope you will stop in at mine.

  2. Rina, I just realized that I gave you an incorrect blog address. It should be www.thoughtsfrommillstreet.blogspot.com Hope you stop by. As for your question, I have a reading list that is so much longer than I have time I doubt I will get in a rut, but it I did, there are several Francine Rivers books I haven't read, plus I have missed many Tracie Peterson books.

    1. Hi Sue, glad you found and like my blog. I'm sure your grandchildren profit from having a grandmother who loves to read and can show them great books! I like your blog and am now a follower.
Libraries are changing quite a bit and at my new job here in Africa I need to figure out what's the best way to utilize and loan and manage ebooks/ebook readers.
