Top Ten Things On My Bookish Bucket List
(could be blogging related, book related etc. -- meeting authors, reading x many books per year, finishing a daunting book, etc.)
1. Beat my personal record for books and pages read in a year (it's stood for 12 years!)
2. Meet Anne Elisabeth Stengl in person. Her book signings have always been when I'm out of town or out of the country.
3. Be caught up on writing reviews for books I have to review
4. Own a bookshelf that requires a rolling ladder :-) It would of course have to be in a personal library.
5. Meet blogging friends in person.
6. Visit the famous and beautiful libraries of Europe.
7. Read all the books I own.
8. In the past week two people asked if I had read all the books in the library (of course not!) and then asked how many I had read. No idea, but I'd kinda like to find out even if it's a lot of counting and a bit of a waste of time...
9. Read more non-fiction
Sorry, can't think of a tenth...

I love # 4, like The Beauty and The Beast's library! I have something similar to # 5 on my list. Hope you get to do everything in your bucket list.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT
Daisel @ Owl Always Be Reading
Exactly! I was thinking of that library when I thought of #4. Hope you can accomplish your list as well!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Love 1 and 4! I've always wanted a rolling ladder, they always seemed so cool in the movies. If I beat my personal goal I'd have to read over 151 books in a year. *shudder*

They are quite cool. :-) I'm sure you can surpass your record!
DeleteThanks for visiting!
Great list! I want a rolling ladder too-forgot to add that to my list though! Just out of curiosity what is your current record for books read in a year?
ReplyDeleteMy record is 255 bks set when I was 14. It included a lot of short books (American Girl) but the total page count was over 40,000. I've never come close to reading that many books since.
DeleteWhat's your record?
Wow that's a pretty great record! I'm pretty sure mine is from 2012 with 235 books and about 69,000 pages. I hope to someday pass that up but who knows? Life is only going to get busier!
DeleteGreat record! Last year I came close (3000 pages) of passing that record but the book total count was about 100 less.
DeleteVery true, life has a way of doing that...
Libraries are just awesome! I've seen many in Europe, but so many more to see! :) Awesome list! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Nea! How cool that you've been able to see a bunch of European libraries!
DeleteThose are awesome goals. I need to read more nonfiction, too. . . and to visit those libraries? To die for!
ReplyDeleteI love how this is a Top 10 Tuesday! You may also want to link up to the original Bookish Bucket List, too!
So many beautiful libraries to see! So many wonderful books to read!
DeleteThanks for the bookish bucket list link!
